Our speaker on Thursday is Ms. Pamela McLemore, Executive Director of Montgomery Christian School.  A native of Eastern Washington, she studied History, Education, and Theology at Biola University in Los Angeles. After graduating, she moved to Budapest, Hungary, where she taught at the International Christian School of Budapest and met her husband, Oliver McLemore. The couple relocated to Montgomery in 2010. With 15 years of teaching experience and a background in international missionary development work, Pamela brought a wealth of knowledge and a heart for service to Montgomery Christian School. She is also a proud mother of five children, including two sets of twins.

After teaching at MCS for several years, Pamela was mentored into the role of Executive Director, officially stepping into the position in the fall of 2021. In her first four years of leadership, she guided the school through remarkable growth and change. Examples include adding 80 new students, 300 new MCS partners, and new staff positions. Also, she initiated and conducted a successful capital campaign, a Parent University, community building, and an after-school program. She acknowledges the contributions of her excellent staff in achieving these results.

Pamela considers her role at MCS the best job she’s ever had, as it blends her love for students, learning, and thinking with her deep commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with families and the community.
